Floral wedding trends that aren't so trendy anymore 2023-2024
OK great question! Pampas grass and I say that with a lot of love, because I know I have a lot of other clients and there’s a lot of people out there that really still love and there is a place for it so what we try to do is take the pampas grass uniquely into your floral design so that it’s not overwhelming so tons of pampas grass out minimal in. When I say pampas grass I mean all botanicas that looks like the pampas grass fresh, artificial or preserved. Also, the fresh pampas grass is illegal to sell or grow in South Australia, so we try to replace the pampas grass with something similar look and mood.
The next thing is large bouquets. A couple years ago it was the bigger bouquet is better and now we’re seeing a lot of brides want more of a petite bouquet and even mono botanical so example we’re having a lot of people want all lily-of-the-valley bouquets or all white rose bouquet so minimal for the bride and her bridesmaids as well.
